How this arrangement works

Electric heating with selectable power settings and optional separately stored hot water.

Electrical supply and selectable outputs

Selectable electrical heating configuration, not a separate boiler family or instantaneous hot-water rating. Electrical supply and protection must be designed for the selected appliance.

The UK electric brochure lists 4/6/8 kW single-phase and 4/6/8/12/16/20/24 kW three-phase settings. These ten configurations are not ten distinct orderable appliances.

The June 2026 guide lists four order references across supply and control versions: Z020839/Z020841 single-phase and Z020840/Z020842 three-phase. Confirm permitted settings in the supplied manual.

No integral instantaneous domestic hot water is claimed; cylinder integration requires the appropriate system controls and accessories.

Key benefits

An integrated circulation pump, 5-litre expansion vessel and safety devices are documented. Constant-temperature and weather-compensated control versions are available.

Key takeaway

Assess heat loss, electrical capacity, tariffs and cylinder requirements before comparing electric heating with gas or a heat pump. Efficiency at the appliance does not guarantee low running costs.

Controls and installation planning

VLN3 provides constant-temperature control and VMN3 weather-compensated control. Optional cylinder integration and VCMG3 extension modules must be specified for the chosen system; no universal smart-thermostat compatibility is claimed.

Casing: 716 mm high × 316 mm wide × 235 mm deep. Flue, pipework and installation/service clearances are additional and require the selected model manual.

Model questions

How should I compare Vitotron 100 Electric outputs?

Read the rating basis alongside the table. Heating, hot-water output and storage delivery describe different duties. Boiler labels and bedroom counts are not substitutes for calculated heat loss and measured water supply.

Manufacturer evidence

UK directory and linked manufacturer literature checked 2 October 2026. Exact generation, availability and current warranty entitlement are reconfirmed before quotation. Where manufacturer documents conflict, the chosen rating basis and remaining checks are stated above.

Installation and pricing

The installed price for your selected boiler is confirmed after assessment. The quotation covers the appliance, controls, flue, system preparation and any required pipework. A conversion or relocation can have a different scope from a straightforward replacement.

SwiftHeat’s general starting package

New boiler installations from £1,790 inc. VAT apply to a qualifying standard, straightforward replacement: one bathroom, fewer than 10 radiators and a standard horizontal flue, subject to survey. Specification and warranty selection affect the final cost. This is a general starting offer and is not a price for every model in this catalogue.

Installation pricing

Price confirmed following assessment for this configuration. The general New boiler installations from £1,790 inc. VAT offer does not apply to every model or property.

From or indicative prices remain provisional. SwiftHeat issues a written fixed quotation for the agreed scope after the appropriate property and installation assessment, technical checks and warranty-package verification. Remote information gathering may be suitable initially; a home survey is required where the necessary checks cannot be completed remotely.

Your home comes first

We assess heat loss, heating and hot-water requirements, water supply, controls and installation access before recommending an appliance. Bedroom count or a catalogue model number alone cannot establish the right boiler.
