What does “up to 12 years” mean?
It is the longest available term on selected boilers, rather than the warranty for every installation.
The range, required filter or protection kit, installer registration route and any paid extension can all affect the cover. We confirm the exact term and conditions in your quotation and handover documents.

What secures your cover
Worcester calls its cover a guarantee. Extended periods depend on the qualifying filter, installer or loyalty registration route and the exact range. The 2000 and 1000 offers require a qualifying filter. Older appliances retain the terms registered at installation.
These parts-and-labour periods require the applicable installation conditions, registration within 30 days, a completed Benchmark record and annual servicing. The 800 offer requires its supplied magnetic filter to be fitted and maintained. Other and previous ranges have their own terms.
Vogue Max’s 12-year option requires the qualifying MAX Accredited installer route and Ideal System Filter. Logic Max’s 10-year package also uses the Ideal System Filter. Registration and annual servicing apply; confirm the current generation and installation package in your quotation.
Standard, registered, promotional and paid extended warranties differ. The longest periods depend on the eligible VPlus installation or extension route and registration; a 12-year extension may cost extra. Commercial versions have separate terms. A heat-exchanger guarantee is separate from whole-boiler cover.
Extended cover depends on the qualifying installer programme, registration and protection package. Vaillant’s Boiler Protection Kit offer applies to eligible ranges up to 45kW. Other ranges and older installations must be checked against their own registered terms.
Navien’s published ranges include parts-and-labour cover, subject to applicable registration, commissioning and annual servicing conditions. For oil boilers, confirm the qualifying warranty package and certificate: product offers and base manual terms can differ.
Agree the warranty length, included protection kit and any extension cost before installation. Keep the quotation and manufacturer terms.
02Keep the registration
Make sure registration meets the manufacturer’s deadline, often 30 days. Keep the certificate, serial number and completed commissioning or Benchmark record.
03Service it each year
Arrange the required annual service with an appropriately qualified engineer and keep the records. Routine servicing is normally paid for separately.
Manufacturer cover deals with eligible appliance faults under its own terms. It commonly includes covered parts and labour, but a component-only guarantee may provide less. System pipework, radiators, controls, water-quality problems, misuse and routine maintenance may be excluded; read your specific terms.
