A boiler beyond repair replaced with a black Worcester Bosch Greenstar 8000+ Style 32kW, with system preparation, magnetic filtration and extended manufacturer cover.
The homeowner’s need
A replacement for a boiler beyond repair.
The existing boiler was beyond repair. The homeowner’s project required its removal and replacement, together with preparation of the central heating system for the new installation.
SwiftHeat UK decommissioned, removed and responsibly disposed of the old boiler. The replacement specification was a Worcester Bosch Greenstar 8000+ Style in black, connected to the homeowner’s existing thermostat.
The work completed.
System preparation
The central heating system was power flushed to remove debris, sludge and contaminants before the new boiler was installed.
Installation and controls
The new 32kW Worcester Bosch boiler was supplied, installed and commissioned. It was connected to the customer’s existing thermostat.
System protection
A magnetic system filter was fitted as part of the installation, helping collect magnetic debris circulating in the heating system.
The approach
Prepare the system. Then install the boiler.
This project combined the new appliance with cleaning and filtration of the existing heating system. The preparation addressed debris in the circuit, while the magnetic filter provides an ongoing means of collecting magnetic material.
The existing thermostat was retained and connected, rather than a new control being added to the project. All work was completed by Gas Safe registered engineers, with the boiler installed to manufacturer specification and commissioned.
Warranty and workmanship
Twelve-year cover for this installation.
Boiler and filter cover
The project included registered, extended twelve-year manufacturer warranty cover for the boiler and magnetic system filter, subject to the applicable manufacturer terms and conditions.
Installation guarantee
A separate twelve-month SwiftHeat installation workmanship guarantee was included.
Aftercare
Ongoing aftercare and support were provided as part of the project. The warranty paperwork sets out the cover and conditions for this installation.
