The project
A new combi boiler for a Treharris home.
SwiftHeat UK removed the customer’s old combi boiler and replaced it with a Worcester Bosch Greenstar 1000 30kW combi. The installation was completed on 2 July 2025.
The project combined the new appliance with a Hive V4 thermostat, a magnetic system filter, a shock arrestor and a vertical flue with a roof terminal and lead flashing.

The Hive V4 thermostat gives the homeowner practical control over heating schedules and room temperature. The magnetic filter helps capture circulating magnetic debris, supporting protection of the heating system.
The shock arrestor helps reduce water-pressure shocks affecting connected pipework and components. Together, these additions support everyday control and ongoing system care.
